Heads up, game night!

How to run a smooth game night

A simple checklist for hosting a party game night that keeps everyone involved.

A great game night is mostly about pacing. Here is a simple plan.

Before you start: agree on a comfort level, decide how long you will play, and pick a host who is happy to steer. Have a phone or laptop charged for the host.

During play: keep rounds short, watch for anyone drifting out of the conversation, and use the skip button freely. The host reveals results only after everyone has voted.

After: ask which game was the favourite and note a couple of prompts people loved for next time.
